An energy therapy session or energy healing is simply working with the energy and etheric field of the body.
The human body is comprised of more than just the physical body, in which you can see and touch. Like everything else, your body is made of energy and has it’s own energy field called the aura. Within that field you have 4 major energy bodies; the etheric (which is the physical body), the emotional, the mental and the spiritual. In an energy therapy session, the practitioner works with the energy systems of the body to restore balance and harmony, taking a holistic approach that looks beyond the physical body. Systems that are commonly worked with are the meridians, auric bodies, and chakras) where the cause of the dis-ease can be located.
On the norm, we are not taught that we have energy bodies, in school we learn all about the physical body. It is just as important to educate yourself on the energy make up of the body.
When your energy systems are out of balance, you store (normally without realizing it) emotional and mental trauma in the energy body.This is called STRESS…. Over time if the blockages are not corrected or balanced, they become a physical manifestation of a sickness or dis-ease. Blockages in our energy prevents us from operating at our full potential.
Energy clearings facilitate the healing process by clearing, releasing the blocked or stagnant energy and refueling it with vital life force energy. Energy sessions with a chosen practitioner on a regular basis can help to identify issues before they become a problem.
Most practitioners are trained in more than one field of energy therapy and may combine them depending upon the needs of the client. Most use their intuitive connections with the client to assess what will be the highest good of the client.

How many sessions will I need?
It varies based on each individual, the nature of the problem and what you might like to accomplish. Just like an onion, we have multiple layers. with each session whatever is ready to be released and healed will present itself. If the lessons and beliefs around the issue have not been learned or replaced, then it may not be time to heal.
Continual healing is a catalyst for your growth. The recommendation is to get an energy clearing as often as possible and learn to clear for yourself. By learning to balance and clear blockages yourself, you learn your body better and you can come for a healing when you feel like you have hit a plateau or a block that you can not clear by yourself.
